SPECIFICATIONS

At the heart of the system is a modified JT8 turbine engine, with available options from Pratt & Whitney and Rolls Royce. Each engine is fully remanufactured, tested, and certified, with all internal components plated with corrosion-resistant materials to maximize service life. The turbines operate at an output range of 25–30 MW while maintaining low emissions of NOx and CO at approximately 50/100 mg per cubic meter. The acoustic profile is measured at approximately 95 dBA at three feet, ensuring compliance with most industrial sound standards. Designed for dual-fuel operation, the turbines can operate using either liquid or gaseous fuels, providing flexibility in diverse environments and fuel markets.

FUEL OPTIONS

Fuel flexibility is a core feature of our turbine technology. Liquid fuel options include Jet Fuel, Diesel, and Low Sulfur Fuel Oil, while gas fuel options range from Natural Gas to Hydrogen blends. This versatility ensures compatibility with both conventional and renewable fuel sources. To further enhance efficiency, heat exchangers can be integrated into the exhaust chamber to capture waste heat and drive multiple 250 kW thermal hydraulic generators. This innovative energy recovery method not only maximizes total system output but also significantly reduces the environmental footprint, making the solution ideal for applications where sustainability is a priority.

Patent and Certifications

Our technology is protected and recognized under Patent # US 9,920,648 B2, certified as a Green Energy Source for its environmental compliance and performance standards. This patent is registered with the USPTO, the Paris Convention Treaty, the European Patent Office, and the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department, ensuring broad global recognition. The system includes advanced microgrid-compatible control systems, multifunction protection relay systems, and full Black Start capability. With adjustable RPM ranging from 900 to 3600, the turbines can be fine-tuned to meet end-user requirements. Each complete system is delivered in two 20-foot containers, allowing for simple interconnection of power and fuel systems on-site.

Heat Rate and Fuel Comparisons

In a 20 MW configuration, the turbine achieves a heat rate of approximately 4,609 BTU per kilowatt-hour, with estimated system losses increasing this value to 6,209 BTU per kilowatt-hour. These metrics compare favorably with many conventional turbine platforms. Equivalent energy values demonstrate the system’s flexibility across different fuel types: operation at 20 MW requires approximately 1,492 cubic feet of natural gas per minute, 3,072 cubic feet of landfill gas, 11.3 gallons of kerosene, 12.8 gallons of biodiesel, or approximately 10 gallons of heavy fuel oil (#6) per minute. This adaptability makes the system deployable across global markets with varying fuel availability.
